The centre sleeps up to 40 pupils and specialises in delivering a number of adventurous activities to children, mainly in KS2/KS3, from all over Cornwall. The activities include canoeing, cycling, climbing, orienteering, moorland exploration and archery with a focus on physical activity, and personal and social development.
The centre is well equipped and well located to deliver high quality sessions and has an excellent reputation amongst the county's schools. Feedback from teachers regularly comments on the quality of tuition delivered by the centre staff. The centre's recent focus has been to support schools in the delivery of the SEAL agenda in Cornwall, using the medium of adventure activity.
