We provide family language, literacy and numeracy sessions. The usual model is that parents/carers work on their own to prepare then are joined by their children where they undertake an activity that addresses literacy or numeracy in an enjoyable way. We use Apple laptops to create cartoons and DVDs. Our setting would appeal to trainee teachers interested in finding out about working with parents/carers of school children.
