The University of Cumbria has four ITT campuses/sites: two are in Cumbria at Ambleside and Carlisle, one is in Lancashire in Lancaster and one is in London in the Professional Development Centre, Tower Hamlets.
We encourage our student teachers to engage with MLA and provide opportunities through the secondary and primary ITT programmes to find out more about teaching and learning in alternative settings. The University offers a wide range of routes into teaching and gaining QTS including: Foundation Degrees, UG and PGCE courses.
We also offer CPD and opportunities to develop post graduate profiles through a variety of routes including an MA in Education.
